What does Joker Optics film?
Most of the collection focuses on military aviation, especially the Blue Angels. Wildlife, kickboxing, water sports, and other subjects that reveal something new in slow motion also appear.
What camera is used?
Joker Optics currently films with the Freefly Ember S5K, a compact high-speed cinema camera built to capture action at extreme frame rates.
How fast is the footage recorded?
The recording speed changes with the subject and shot. Frame rates are included in footage titles and descriptions when available, with some films captured at up to 4,000 frames per second.
Is the footage altered with AI?
No. Joker Optics does not use generative AI, upscaling, compositing, masking, or visual effects to invent or alter what happened. The moments shown are real events captured in-camera.
Where is Joker Optics based?
Joker Optics is based in Gulf Breeze, Florida, near the Pensacola-area flight lines and Gulf Coast locations seen throughout the collection.
Why does the preview look different from the full video?
Gallery previews are lightweight versions made to load quickly. Open a film to watch the longer, higher-quality version with normal playback controls.
Where can I find the newest footage?
The Footage page contains the complete collection. New films normally appear first unless a featured film has been placed at the top.
